I wish I could dedicate more time writing poetry and prose. I truly love how words can be weaved together to express emotions – deep, insightful, and sometimes wistful. Like always, I wrote them during my hour-long train journeys. Hope you enjoy reading them.

“A sunset fell from the sky,
into a whirlpool of poetic chaos.
The broken-hearted,
the betrayed,
the lost souls – bared their wounds
in cryptic messages,
tossing and turning between long nights
and brevity of relationships.”
“I once met a broken sunset,
ridiculously beautiful and alone,
it sang songs of a dreamless sky
and the promises stranded underneath.”
“The dreams I had at night no longer wore a shade of macabre. But were pale, almost lifeless. I hid them behind my eyes, pushing them further into the abyss they came from. But today, as I sat next to silence, I felt a desire for darkness. For the chaos that beckoned me from places they tell you not to venture alone.”
“The vines have grown deep in my heart,
residing in the empty spaces between the lungs.
The foliage of dried leaves and gulps of dark coffee.
Long autumn days longing winter’s return.
Was I supposed to wait?
I don’t remember anymore.”

Beautiful poetry and stunning skies
Wow – fabulous poetry and beautiful shots.
Lovely poems, Sanch. Love those pictures too.
Loved the pictures, as always, and also the words that went with them! You need to do this oftener.
And, although, poetry is not my cup of tea, there are just some blogs I visit for the poetry–Sanch’s and Soumya’s. Now, if you continue with this, I will surely be visiting you, too! 🙂
