In this post, I am going to share different Origami heart that I made recently, following tutorials on Pinterest and Youtube. It has been long since I have crafted anything for Valentine’s day, so I thought why not this year. Plus it gave me a wonderful opportunity to go back to the one art-form that started my love for papercraft – Origami.
I usually don’t create tutorials on crafts which are the original work of other artists. But I am definitely going to share the links that helped me come up with these origami papercrafts.

Let me also share this 3D Origami Heart tutorial
It all began about 11 years ago, in between learning to fold a crane and water lily, I chanced upon the incredible world of 3D Origami models. You can find all my creations here – 3D Origami. Later on, I started creating quilling miniatures and flower frames. We all start somewhere, this was my starting point – into the world of art and craft.
I made this few years ago but couldn’t find any tutorial, so I created my own in case anyone wants to recreate this design – 3D Origami Heart Tutorial

If you still need more Valentine’s Day gift ideas, check out these quilling cards I had made over the years. Due to lack of time, and my ridiculous zeal to learn a hundred things at a time, I haven’t been able to devote time to paper quilling. Hopefully, it will be good this year. 🙂

Hey , thanks for sharing such a beautiful art . Keep up the good work.
Hello, the hearts are so cute. Perfect for Valentine’s Day! I hope your day was great. Enjoy your weekend!
Thank you so much 😀
These are so very adorable, Raj! Unfortunately, I hardly ever do crafts, but my niece is great at all things crafty. I will share this with her.
Thank you Rachna 😀
Such beauties, all of them!!
Thank you 😀
I loved the winged and 3-D origami hearts. Very neat and very creative too!!
Thank you Shilpa 😀
So amazing. I am definitely trying a couple of them… especially the heart shaped bookmarks. May be I should make my husband do them for me 😛 .
Thank you. Do try them and let me know how it goes 😀
The origami hearts are lovely. I have a question for the crafters – what do they do with all of their craft work? How do they store them and where?
That’s a very good question. I usually use them like bookmarks or decorate the house after framing the artworks. I am planning to use the origami ones in journals 😊 sadly, I lost a lot of my craftworks while relocating.
Lovelyyyyy! You do have a lot of patience, Raj! I am so bad at craft…in fact, given a choice between art and craft, I will pick up art, any day! I lose all patience with paper work, embroidery, sewing….although, years ago, I used to make my own dresses!
So, gifting these hearts to hubby dear, eh? 😛
Wow really, now that’s a real talent. Inagine being able to design all your clothes 😀 hahaha no no not gifting them… But I will use them for my own good 😅
😀
These are lovely! I suck at origami, though, but I may just give the bookmark a try!
Yes do try it. I am sure you will nail the fold 😊
These are extremely creative… loved the idea of making origami hearts. gonna try one of them out
Thank you so much doc 😀
I would blame you if I don’t go out with the man on Valentine’s and instead sit doing this 😀
That 3D heart is something I have to try soonest.
Hahahaha he would blame me too 😅 3D heart is a bit time consuming but looks very pretty.
Wow, these are beautiful! Since I am hopelessly craft-disabled, I will share these with Gy and ask her to try her hand at them 🙂
Hope she likes them. 😀thank you.
