Beach vacation and Gorgeous Sunrise at Ulladulla | Australia | Travel

The month of April was probably the most exciting month in 2025 yet. Since the Easter holidays were adjacent to the Anzac Day weekend, I enjoyed a good 10 days of holidays. Even my workplace encouraged the employees to utilize the opportunity and take 3 days off to get a total of 10 days.

I had planned an awesome beach holiday for a couple of days in Ulladulla for my family and friends. I was fervently hoping for a little downtime after a hectic but rewarding quarter at work.

The Airbnb house at Ulladulla was located right next to the beach, which also had private access. The rooms were spacious, warm, inviting, and tastefully decorated, but the highlight of the house was the living room. The view of the waves rising and crashing against the rocks stole my heart. The kids were super excited when they came across a whole stash of books, toys, and board games.

This is what you call – picture perfect.

It rained on the first two days. The kids were busy playing and making up games. I spent my days sipping tea and hot coffee, eating burgers at lunch, and enjoying Thai and Mexican cuisine. We strolled along the beach when the rain had subsided, enjoying a peaceful sunset – ruminating about life and watching the sky cast pink and golden hues across the shore.

On the third morning, I woke up early as the clouds had slightly parted the previous evening. And after waiting patiently in the crisp chill of the autumn morning, I was finally rewarded with the sight of the sun rising from the horizon.

The bright golden ball of fire slowly rising from the sea. Notice how the color of the sky changed so dramatically during sunrise.

Once the golden hour has over.

And of course, how could I not strike a Yoga Pose! 😀 This picture was taken by my 6-year-old. Surprised me how well he captured the frame.
