Serial Chiller – Zentangle Inspired Artwork

In between taking care of my newborn and keeping up with my Yoga practice, I try to take time out to draw some Zentangle Inspired Artwork. Mostly because I find art therapeutic. It doesn’t tire me. And frankly, I really do need my black pen and a piece of paper to relax, and for once, let go of all the random thoughts and worries of a new parent.

I finished this a month ago, over a period of several days. Since I watch a lot of Netflix these days holding a sleeping baby, this word compliments me very well. I am totally a Serial Chiller.

Here’s a collection of photos – along with progress pictures. Let me know what you think. 🙂

  1. Zentangles sounds very interesting and also as if it is actually designed ti be therapeutic. I like your drawings it’s very pretty. Honestly this is something that I would do too.

  2. I’ve never heard the term zentangles before but I just looked it up and love it! I used to draw zentangles on my binders in highschool. I would do it to help me relax after taking a test. They were more detailed and intricate than a doodle, as I would always have a plan in place. I love how you included progress pictures and used the negative space as your lettering!
