Meet me at the edge of a sunset
spilled across a timeless s k y
wrap me in warm memories
before they tumble down
I usually go for a walk in a nearby popular spot where you can see the slight outline of the Blue Mountains. And on some evenings, you can watch the sun slowly set behind the mountains – a beautiful sight.
I have chased sunsets in different places, different countries – keeping track of weather, clouds, timings etc etc. And yet I end up witnessing stunning sunsets while casually driving down from a friend’s place. The skies lit up like firecracker. I guess these little unexpected moments make life even better.
Watched this beautiful sunset when I took my kid for a bike ride.
The colors suprised me. So intense and unexpected. Another beautiful sunset while on a school run, after which we enjoyed coffee, donuts and rolls.
And of course, my backyard – the most convenient spot to watch the colors burst in the sky. From deep orange to candy floss pink – I am grateful to have seen some very gorgeous sunsets from this spot.
