It’s that time of the year when Cherry Blossoms adorn the roadsides in Australia. Spring (from September to November) is my favorite season for this reason. The weather is simply perfect for any kind of outing; the landscape is beautified by a numerous variety of flora. You can see some amazing Cherry Blossoms in Canberra.
You can find Cherry Blossoms of almost every color. I didn’t even know that so many varieties exist.
The white Cherry Blossoms looked like snowflakes settled on the trees.
We spent the afternoon in the garden, treated ourselves to free tea/coffee, egg sandwiches and some live music. Apart from the flowers, what I love the most about the garden is it doesn’t get too crowded, thus maintaining the aesthetic feel of the place.
Hope I will be back next year too.

It's lovely! I don't like Canberra that much but I wish I could see this when I visited. I especially like the cherry blossoms as I haven't had the chance to see them yet. It's the Jacarandas season at the moment in Brisbane, I'm loving it and taking hundreds of pix! Enjoy Spring 😀
These views are gorgeous! I never would have thought of Canberra as a top flower destination, but I love finding slightly off-the-beaten-path spots for cherry blossom viewing.
I'm from Australia and had no idea cherry blossoms and tulips were in Canberra! I will definitely take a trip there at some point. Beautiful!
Your photographs are beautiful! For some reason I’d never have thought to find these kind of gardens in Australia, so it’s great to see something different! I love cherry blossom too, especially if the wind blows, it looks like confetti falling!
The photos you took are gorgeous! Would you recommend going around now (Oct-Nov?) is that when springtime is in Cranberra? The colors are so beautiful!
You have so many beautiful shots in this post. I love your shot of the white Cherry Blossoms. It really does look like snow flakes!
Beautiful photos! I visited Australia in August and I loved it but I wish I could have seen cherry blossoms in full bloom.
