Rixty 3D | A to Z of Zentangle Patterns | Tutorial

This April, I’m participating in the April A to Z Blogging Challenge with a creative twist -learning and sharing Zentangle patterns! Each day, I’ll explore a new pattern, uncovering its beauty and include it in my zentangle inspired artwork. At the end of the challenge, I hope to have a completed artwork with all the patterns I learned in this challenge. Zentangle is a meditative art method using structured patterns called tangles. It encourages focus and creativity through repetitive drawing. Practicing Zentangle promotes mindfulness, helping to reduce stress, calm the mind, and improve concentration by immersing the artist in the present moment.

Day 18 of the challenge – R for Rixty 3D

Rixty 3D is a dynamic Zentangle pattern that combines geometric flair with organic curves. It evolves from the original Rixty, adding depth and dimension. The shading enhances the illusion of form, making it engaging and visually satisfying to draw.
