This April, I’m participating in the April A to Z Blogging Challenge with a creative twist -learning and sharing Zentangle patterns! Each day, I’ll explore a new pattern, uncovering its beauty and include it in my zentangle inspired artwork. At the end of the challenge, I hope to have a completed artwork with all the patterns I learned in this challenge. Join me on this artistic journey as I embrace mindfulness, creativity, and the joy of tangling!
Day 10 of challenge – J for Joki
Zentangle is typically done with black ink on white paper, though the practice can extend to color and other mediums. I use pencil colors to add depth and color 3D gemstones.
Joki is an easy pattern, consisting of smooth swirls and continuous curves. The pattern is by Kim Claus. You can read more about the it – Joki
Here’s a quick video tutorial I created on how to draw Joki zentangle pattern.

I used Joki as a filler between Heartlock and In-n-out well pattern.
