I can’t seem to make up my mind! I’ve tried to pick a niche, but my Geminian flaky mind wants to try everything. 😄 Hence, this post is a collection of artworks I’ve made over the past few months. Zentangles on days when I have just enough time to pick up a pen, gemstones when I want to practice 3D art, and graphic markers on days I do art with my little one. Enjoy!
I have 4 sketchbooks that I actively use, depending on my whimsiness and ideas floating in my head.
I find joy in drawing patterns. Sakura roll gel pens are my favorite to draw these white pen illustrations and zentangle art.
Inspired by a reel on instagram by @darkestnightofoctober, I tried out glowing jellyfish with Graphic markers – bringing alive this bookmark with sea creature.
Another graphic marker artwork. My husband had gifted me 3 sets of graphic markers on my birthday a few years ago. I barely got a chance to use them, so this year I have made a goal to draw with marker pens as much as possible. I loved how the Koi fish turned out, the only thing I liked about this work. 🤣 I tried to give the bubbles a 3D effect but was only partially successful.
And here’s my favorite thing to draw – zentangle gems. Some colors work well, and others make me struggle to give them a 3D pop out look.

I love your artwork, all of them! Each of them stand out in its own way. I am glad that you are able to find time and create art and share with this, too. Keep creating, Raj. ❤️
*share with us, too. Sorry for the typo. 😊
I love the artworks you shared, Rajlakshmi! Each of them inspired me and made me want to get back to zentangling again. How do you create the gemstone artwork? They’re so so good! I’m totally in awe of you, Raj and the way you create so many beautiful things alongside leading such a busy life. You’re truly one of a kind! :))
I’m already a fan of your gemstone artwork. But I loved the freeflowing fish amongst the water lilies.
