Last weekend, the Australian sky was lit up by Aurora Australis or the Southern Lights, strongest in 20 years. Australians living far up in northern states like Queensland were also able to witness this spectacular phenomenon. But, like always, Sydney was shrouded in a thick blanket of cloud and had the wettest month in 21 years.
You can imagine how utterly disappointed and heart broken I was as I waited outside just for a little break in clouds. I kept scouring the forums and groups to see if anyone had any success around the Sydney area. But sigh! Think I will have to catch a flight to Tasmania soon.
So, here I am, consoling my heart with some pretty sunsets that we had over the past month. Enjoy. 😊
Also, look at these pretty sunsets I saw in Jervis Bay.

Gorgeous skies! I was lucky and was able to see the northern lights (first time most locals could remember ever seeing them), but at the time, I didn’t even realize what I was seeing!!
Wow, what a treat.
Worth a Thousand Words
All gorgeous captures!
That first sunset reflection is gorgeous.
In Finland we had Northern Lights at the same time. Unfortunately they wasn´t visible in my location.
