My idea of heaven is to wake up, have a good breakfast, and spend the rest of the day drawing.

That’s pretty much how I feel like doing these days given that the lockdown seems neverending. But then life happens. The Covid cases in Sydney have been increasing at an alarming rate. Strict restrictions have been imposed in many suburbs now, even in the one where I live. We are following all the rules, and don’t go out unless necessary. But doesn’t look like this year is going to be any different than the last year. I try to keep myself motivated through Yoga and Work. And on days when I get some free time, I draw. Sharing with you some of my recent white pen drawings. I thought of using my white pens this time to create these artworks.
I want to draw intricate Mandalas but don’t feel too motivated to use scale or compass. 🙂 So I decided to draw it freehand. This white pen artwork actually took a long time to finish as I had to continually come up with new patterns.
I don’t know if the coloring makes any difference. Though I did enjoy adding a little bit of color to it.
I can’t get enough of the word Sukoon. Aren’t we all looking for it in these times?
Someone said that this drawing has Moana-like feels. I have to say, it does look like that.
Here’s a sea horse that I really loved drawing. Maybe someday when I have more time, I will draw it again with more details.
Can’t stop making bookmarks. I have too many of these card stocks and they pretty much are always lying on the table, just in case, I come up with an idea.
I made this for a friend who loves cats. We have started writing to each other this year and send some small cute things along with it.
Hope you enjoyed these white pen drawings.
