Ironbark Lake, Ponds | Sydney Suburb

Ponds is a suburb in Sydney (NSW, Australia), about 40 km from the CBD. The residential area is fairly new, with beautiful parks and a huge artificial lake called Ironbark Lake. The lake, which was originally a farm dam, has a walkway around it, a playground for toddlers and seating areas to watch the beautiful colors of sunset reflect on the water surface. You will also find a lot of birdlife like wood ducks swimming in the lake.

  2. The photos are all like picture postcards, Raj. The one with you in it is lovely. How wonderful to see places thousands of miles away through your pictures. I can imagine how soothing it would be to sit and watch the water and the ducks.

  5. Absolutely stunning, Rajlakshmi! Ironbark Lake looks like such a magnificent spot, if I lived in Sydney, I would also be a frequent visitor. Water has such a pull for me. These are such beautiful shots, you have really captured the essence of this dreamy place.
