A Whimsical Medley – Is my theme for the A to Z April Blogging Challenge !! Hope you smile today 🙂

My foodie adventure continues, this time thankfully not so scandalous as the last time. Let me introduce you to my new favorite – Soft Shell Crab Handmade roll – delicious crab meat wrapped in crunchy seaweed available at Sushi Train restaurant. One word – Yummm!!! Then comes raw fish egg toppings on sushi. I love how the flavour just bursts in my mouth.

I tried Mussels for the first time this year. Although unpalatable to look at, they don’t taste that bad in a Seafood Hot pot – consisting of tofu, white fish, king prawns and crab claws.

Life is beautiful when you get to slurp some yummy soupy Mushroom with Noodles for lunch, a dish from Yunnan China served at Two Sticks. The boiled noodles are served separately with the soup.
I miss eating these fried fish 🙂
The famous Strawberry Watermelon cake by Black Pastry is now available in Sydney CBD too. Only a limited number of pieces are available for sale, so if you are not quick enough, you might only be left drooling.
Hey I cook too!! Prepared this yellow looking ‘chicken meatball in coconut milk’ curry, which led to me being blamed for squashing my husband’s diet plans as he helped himself a third serving.
A Whimsical Medley will continue tomorrow with – ‘The Dreaded B Word’.

Yummy…the dishes look so tempting! I think I will save your posts for reading just before my meals otherwise I will end up gobbling food in between my meals, my waistline is already stretched to the max 🙂
Oh man! those pictures. I wish I could cook that 😉 Acceptance – I just read that one 🙂
I'm a day behind you this world, so will have to catch up on A and B today. Love to see food that makes me hungry. You just did. Now on to B! Can't wait.
I do love the idea of adventure and your prose and pictures do pique my interest, but alas, I am a picky eater. I will never be a real foodie except with my eyes. Thanks for the feast. @donnanotdiva
