The sunrise time in Sydney is 7am these days, but we all know that it’s the Golden hour, before sunrise, that’s absolutely magical.
Since beaches are quite far from where I live, about 25 to 30 km, I need to wake up early, at an unearthly hour of 5am. I say 5am but after snoozing the alarm innumerable times and contemplating if I should let go of the blanket while it’s 9 degrees outside, 20 minutes would have passed. This weekend was no different.
But I managed to watch the glorious horizon change from tangerine to yellow. Waves crashing against the cliff, roaring ocean and seagulls flying by – just the kind of place I want to be.

Here’s the sun rising behind the cliffs.
I keep going back to Clovelly because it’s peaceful and not many people are around. Occasionally, few joggers and runners would run by, but usually it’s quite early in the morning.
It's awesome to visit this web site and reading the views
of all colleagues concerning this paragraph, while I am also
zealous of getting know-how.
fantastic post
you are truly a sunset lover…always admire your photos..they are gorgeous..
Amazing pictures here specially that third one with the sun showing up beautifully.
Blessed are those who wake up early and see the sunrise.
Beautiful pictures
Cool pics. I find it difficult (read: lazy) to travel 8 KM to Marina beach in the "COLD" early mornings to catch the sunrise 😛
