Wanderlust Postcards – Jervis Bay

Destination: Jervis Bay

Today you will be travelling with me to the gorgeous Jervis Bay. With its famous white sands and clear turquoise water, Jervis Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

I stayed at Huskisson, which is a small city in Jervis Bay. Towards the evening, flock of marine birds, including pelicans, can be seen on the patch of land in the below picture.

I went for a Dolphin and whale watching tour from Huskisson. The river cruise took us to the entrance of the Bay, where wild waves crashed against our ferry. Not so nice for a person suffering from motion sickness. I saw a lot of dolphins and other marine birds, but unfortunately, didn’t see any whale.

The beauty of the Rocky shoreline!!

Murrays Beach is located in Booderee National Park, Jervis Bay. It’s a nice and quiet beach, a wonderful picnic spot, with barbecue facilities available on the premise.
