Reverse n Revolved

Yoga Every Damn Day – As a part of A to Z April Blogging challenge, I am going to post a series of Yoga poses. Don’t worry I will keep it simple and crisp… and try not to make it boring.

Parivrtta Utkatasana or Revolved Chair Pose

Woaa I look so lost in this picture. It was windy and pretty cold (as you can see from my hair flying all over)

Stretches the lower back. Increases the flexibility of the spine and back. Stretches the shoulders. Challenges the balance. Powerful detoxification of toxic food, drink, thoughts, etc.

  • Bound Revolved Side Angle

Here my fingers are interlocked behind me

Strengthens and stretches the legs, the knees, and the ankles. Stretches the groins, the spine, the chest, the lungs, and the shoulders. Stimulates abdominal organs. Increases stamina. Improves digestion and aids elimination. Improves balance. Source

  1. Wow! These poses both look rather challenging, the first one looks quite odd in pose and yet you are able to pull it off with grace and ease Raj! I am so amazed at your flexibility! 🙂 <3

  2. Even a normal chair pose is so difficult.. these look even more difficult, Princess :O but you seem to pull it off with ease! Super coool hai! 🙂 and and what a beautiful backdrop 😀

Let’s keep the conversation flowing!
