Yoga Every Damn Day – As a part of A to Z April Blogging challenge, I am going to post a series of Yoga poses. Don’t worry I will keep it simple and crisp… and try not to make it boring. {All pictures are mine, clicked by my dear husband}
Gate Pose or Parighasana
Presenting before you some of the variations of Parighasana that I love adding to my Yoga Practice. My body is not yet ready for a full Parighasana, which is an intense side stretch where the head touches the knee and hands touch the feet.
Wanna work out the obliques? While in the Gate Pose, dip to the other side as well. I do atleast 15 reps of dipping and then repeat it on the other side.
An awesome workout to get the curves around the waist 🙂

I definitely need to do this, except that I can't stay on my knees for so long! A standing variation maybe?
maybe you can use those knee cap or place a pillow underneath. Or else side planks would work wonders too 🙂
