I wasn’t much of a couch potato untill I started watching Big Bang Theory. It was already season 3 when I first started watching it. So there was a lot to catch up. I would reach home by 8 pm, cook a ridicuously bland dinner, and watch the serial one after another till 5 am. With headphones on, I would be laughing alone like a lunatic at all the antics of Sheldon 🙂 Ahh the bliss of living alone.
But after marriage, I had to schedule everything. Because my husband is just as much of a crazy Serial addict. So we fought, argued, debated – over Californication and Castle, Mentalist and True Blood.

Each day we would list out points, why Beckett is far more interesting than irresponsible Hank. Why Mentalist is more realistic than Vampires and Werewolves.

I remember watching episodes of sarabhai vs. Sarabhai in Hindi years back on television. That was the time when I used to put everything away for that hour! Thank God that we agree to watch the same serials. TBBT and Boston Legal are our fav among a lot of others! And fortunately, we cant stand the Hindi serials at all!

I had almost given up on watching TV shows (the dish on the roof terrace is only for the show, have been living without cable TV for several years now), until recently. Someone gave us House of Cards – a political thriller. And I am hooked. Watching season 2 now. But am still not going to get cable connection. Can't stand the noise of commercials and all that stuff that goes by the name of news. Thank heavens for the Torrents, allows you to be selective about your TV watching 🙂
