Kicking off A to Z Challenge with an Acrostic.
What is an Acrostic?
Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title.
Here’s an attempt at Acrostic Poetry form, a poem about attitude and confidence.
****************
Title – Attitude
Away I flew, soaring over the horizons new
To grasp the trail of a fallen star
They gasped in shock and screamed and stared
I still reached for the twilight afar
Toughened by time’s tricky plays
Unflinching, I embraced my self-esteem
Drenched in a palette of blues and grays
Envisaging a thousand dreams.
This poem is dedicated to all the brave hearts and dreamers who never fail to work towards their aspirations no matter what people say.
