Drabble – Strangers in the Night

Cold wind pierced through Trish’s skin as she rushed to the bus
stop. Bubbling with anger she had stormed out of Sam’s apartment. The break up
was imminent. She was shivering and, sobbing for being so blind.

eyes.

hesitated but let the warm fabric envelop her.

His genuine concern touched her. She resolved they won’t
just be strangers in the night.

******************
They weren’t.
