Whispering horizon
wears a speck of amber
while a silent autumn
waits in denial to
watch spirited colors
waddle across the moor
welcoming giggling spring.
Poetry Form: Pleiades – This titled form was invented in 1999 by Craig Tigerman, Sol Magazine’s Lead Editor. Only one word is allowed in the title followed by a single seven-line stanza. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the title. Hortensia Anderson, a popular haiku and tanka poet, added her own requirement of restricting the line length to six syllables.

I quite like your poem. I write a lot about the seasons, as the year goes by, and I am impressed by how you pack so much into this terse form. The idea of autumn waiting in denial as spring begins is very rich in possibility and imagination.
