Silver rime
on moments, once sublime
flickering across purple twilight,
Stale promises piled ‘neath a melancholic night.
faceless voices rejoicing an eclipsed moon’s plight
in solitude, a distant dawn drowns
life drapes an old hag’s gown,
when time frowns.
