Nostalgia
Remember those scenes from bollywood movies of early 90’s, where actresses would fall down from stairs … rolling all the way… the scenes which were suppose to be the turning point of the movie… Ohh how impressed was my young self with those scenes… wondered how the world looked while rolling down… I used to practice that – from my bed to the floor, just to have a taste of that kind of action … but the result was too painful 😛 so one fine outrageously stupid day, I tried it on our stairs … and the spin’ feel’ing was amazing … little bruises … a shocked Mom and that was the end of my adventure… 😀
Still that urge bubbles sometimes, but then some things have an age limit attached …
Little Show-Off
Ok a little show-off here … Yesterday our corporate blogs , celebrated its 4th anniversary and I received the Most Popular Blog for Poetry (which was based on voting) and top commenter award 😀 …
Though my hands were filled with certificate, pen, keychains, gift vouchers, {samosa, cake too} … but my mind eyed Sree’s diary … Being such a good ‘froggie’ boy, he gave it to me… but MJ could tolerate and we ended up in a tug of war … he too relented …and the diary now rests peacefully near my pillow 😀 with my name etched on its first page 😀
Ghar ghar Ki Kahani
My siblings are enjoying their vacation at home … after a gruesome 2 months of examinations. Now the problem starts when they start elaborating their lunch and dinner menu which almost every day outrageously includes paneer butter masala… and chilly chicken and pulao … grrrrr… while I somehow gulp down the yellow-orange liquid that is served in the name lunch… Once I couldn’t tolerate and devoured half tandoori chicken from Food Fiesta … my sister is banned from mentioning anything remotely related to anything edible.
Enjoy the weekend…
