7 Gorgeous Sunsets in Sydney

Bringing to you some of the most gorgeous sunsets I have witnessed in Sydney.

  1. It was a cold Saturday. We were driving to Bowral but on the way stopped by Mittagong to visit the various lookouts Mount Gibraltar had to offer.  Since the afternoon was turning out to be even more colder than expected,  we decided to drive back home. This was somewhere near Liverpool, a suburb in NSW. The western sky was drenched in fantastic colors,  but the eastern side looked cloudy and grey. Clicked this from my phone as we drove past the quiet landscape, listening to Katy Perry.

2. Just another evening stopping by Woolworths to buy some grocery 🙂 and the sky decided to burst out in colors.

3. Antique cars fascinate me.  And when they are customized to look unique and intriguing, you have got to stop and admire.  We saw a signboard about Car Show in Western Sydney International Dragway ( Eastern Creek) and decided to stop by. The evening sky had turned pinkish, while my husband and I walked along rows and rows of shiny metallic beauties.

4. It was my dream to see a sunset over the Blue Mountains. And one summer evening, we drove to Echo Point and waited for over an hour for the Golden hour.

5. This is just another cloudy sunset in Western Sydney

6. And one more.

7. The construction in the motorway often blocks a good view, but I managed to find a gap and click this sunset.

  8. The cloudy sunset in Western Sydney is my favourite pic! What an amazing photographer you are, Rajlakshmi <3

I remember the first sunset pic I had clicked, like it was yesterday. I had one of those small Nokia phones with a camera. And yet, the pic looked stunning to me!

  9. Are you sure Rajlakshmi it is the sunset in the first picture, because to me it appears that the jungle has been set on fire. I am imagining if I took D and his father to the Antique cars show, both of them would get fixed there and I would have nothing to do. Think I will click photos of the sunset 😀 😀 😀

  10. Such gorgeous shots, Raj!!
Is it that sunsets are more beautiful at your place or there’s an art of capturing them? I think, it’s the latter!! What say you? 🙂

  11. Wow! Each one more breathtaking than the other…Loved all the gorgeous pics here! I’m doing one too, on similar lines for my upcoming post. 🙂

  12. Absolutely brilliant shots! We never have exciting skies….like ever….in Mumbai 🙁 I am in awe of such sky shots and also loads envious! At least seeing such beautiful skies let me enjoy them vicariously!

  13. Such stunning captures…My personal favorite is the one behind the antique cars…Your blog is so colourful, am sure you are a very colourful person in real life.
