La La La, Can’t Hear You

Why, oh whyyy !!! did Castle leave me in such a cliff hanger. I am clawing out my nail polish in utter curiosity, waiting for season 7. On a good note, I won’t have to use my nail polish remover. But seriously, my heart and mind, both are in utter distress!!

I have pulled out a google search result of Ian Somerhalder to keep my sanity in check. Ohh his eyes!!! those deep gorgeous poetic eyes!!!

So after watching the last episode of Castle I immediately whatsapp’ed my whole friends group writing in length about the *incident*, when my dear friend Megz (Megzone) replied with Hammers. Thankfully she lives no where near my house, else she would have took a sledgehammer and clubbed my sorry a$$ because I spilled the biggest turnaround in Castle’s history and she hadn’t watched that episode yet 😛

My other friend Tingu tried taking revenge on me by spilling the contents of Mentalist, when his girl friend replied with bigger hammers as she hadn’t watched those episodes  😀

Remember how your friends would try to reveal the ending and you would stuff fingers in your ears and go la la la. I have been on both sides, trying to get my things done 😛
Imagine standing in a long queue waiting to buy movie tickets to watch Lagaan, when people who are coming out of the hall, keep shouting, “Oh man!! last ball was no ball, last ball was no ball”. *tang!!*
I remember my friends were discussing Chinatown (Shaheed/Kareena flick) when one suddenly went,“I can’t believe the housekeeper was the murderer!!”. Yeah, I am gonna broom your freaking hair out of your head!!
Or how my friends narrated the whole ordeal of watching SRK die in Kal Ho Na ho. Seriously girls, gimme a break!!
And the recent was when I found people discussing the last episode of HIMYM in great lengths. Without reading the next line, I immediately closed the browse, downloaded last episode and watched it to my heart’s content. 😛

So have you ever spoiled a movie for someone 😀

  1. I've accidentally spoiled moving endings without realizing the other person had not seen it yet. Worse, on Facebook I have gone on there after watching a season finale of a popular show and said stuff like, "OMG can you believe so&so died in the end??" And my friends are like, "NOOOO why did you spoil it for us??"

  2. But for a movie like Lagan, you would have still figured out that the British would lose the cricket match 🙂 That's Hindi cinema, baby…the good guys would always win 🙂 But jokes apart, yes I do agree that it is really bad manners to spill the beans for a suspense movie or show! But then there are some suspense movies that you can watch again and again even though you know how it would end. That's what a good movie is about, I guess 🙂 Interesting write-up, Rajlakshmi.

    1. You know what, I didn't watch Lagaan 😛 the ending was spoilt 😛
I agree some suspense movies are worth it… or for that matter I can still watch SRK die and cry buckets 😛 Thanks for writing in 🙂

  3. No, I havent done that ever and would hate, no, kill that person (of course with my eyes or venomous tongue), if somebody ever spoiled a movie for me!! 😀

  4. right i am amazed Meghzy had time to reply and that too with hammers, she shud be busy with something else 🙂

  5. I always have my hands on my ears and my vocal cords squeaking while viewing ANYTHING with my best friend. I don't take her to movies now, or choose separate seats 😛

And and and, such love for Ian Somerhalder!!
