This time on New Year’s eve I was fortunate to witness the spectacular Sydney Fireworks that people all around the world wait for. We chose Bradfield Park as the viewing point since it not only provides a lovely view of the Opera house but is also right next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
I must say my choice of viewing point didn’t disappoint me.
I reached the spot at around 6 pm, which was pretty late by Sydney standard as people has already placed mats and built tents all around the park.
I just can’t get enough of this lovely view.
Family Fireworks started at 9 pm. This is for families with young children, who can watch the firework and then go back home. It lasted for about 10 minutes.
With bated breath we waited for midnight. The Sydney Harbour Bridge lit up in thousand colors as the firework show started right at the onset of new year.
The Crowd at Milson’t Point was unbelievable. But even more amazing was the impeccable arrangement and management of the government and public. Trains were running every 5 minutes to take passengers towards the city and western suburbs. People here are so organized, no unnecessary complains or pushing/pulling.
A beautiful start to the New Year 🙂
