Lira:
A 5 line Spanish poetry form
with syllable counts of 7-11-7-7-11
and a rhyme scheme of ababb
wild meadows immersed in amber brilliance,
trickles dewdrop – translucent,
delicate pink radiance,
dispersed in milieu- a contagious buoyance.
The picture is of the favorite hill of my siblings near their college, which according to the map lies in Meghalaya. My brother would practice (or rather torment) with his music-band and my sister, with her gal group would join them for a picnic. I envy them. A mountain of their own!!! hmmmphhh…
{I am burning with jealousy. It is not doing any good to my lovely skin 😛 Brother having fun at home, my sister is in Sikkim, and poor me, coughing and sneezing under the burning Chennai sun 😐 not fair not fair! grrrrr }
